Back in my country!

I have returned from my summer hol to France and am now peacefully in my room in London :)
I left for France on July 3rd and came back this Monday. Let's just say, I wouldn't put this Family holiday in my top five list of best vacations ever. I am going to be realistic and state the reasons why I feel it failed as a hol for me.
1. It rained non stop - It felt like I had never left England. It was sunny for one day; the day we arrived. How lame is that?
2. The resort's activities weren't as good as the brochure stated - they based themselves on a active adventure holiday suitable for all ages. Well that is deffo not what I saw. All I saw was a climbing frame for children to play on. Some canoes/kayaks and some quad bikes.
3. Overcharging equipment - main reason we chose the place we stayed in was for the quad bikes, so my brother could have fun. But no, they had to ruin it. Went up to the desk and asked to use the quads. Woman says 'It's €35 for 1 hour but you need to put down a €300 deposit incase anything happens to the bike'. Er, €300, that is overpriced! French people are a joke. In UK, the deposit would probably be about £150 max and a mininum of £35 (I'm guessing) Dad literally spat his drink out when he heard of the depo.
4. Loud dutch children - now I am a very friendly calm person but, I swear, when I was in the pool with my mum, about 5 dutch kids were screaming their heads off going 'arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh' 'ooooooooooohhhhhhhh' 'rawwwwwwrr' Er shut up! If you wanna scream go back to your caravan and scream there you irritating little kids.

I could go on forever but I won't as I would probably bore you with the details.
Next year I am deffo holidaying with friends in Spain. No more France for me.
